Child Protection Team Leader - Edinburgh - Full time opportunity available on a temporary contract basis.

The Social Care Community Partnership are currently recruiting for a Child Protection Team Leader

Duration - 6 months initially

Salary: £25 - £35 ph PAYE and accrued Holidays and Pension

The working pattern is generally from Monday to Friday

Requiremetns for the role

• You need to have prior experience a manager, with a calm, steady approach who can assist with decision making and support of staff within the team.
• The role involves representing social work within the IRD process and multidiscipliniary working
• you need to have experience of leading a statutory child and families team and IRD decision making .
• experience in managing allocation of high risk, child protection work is essential.
• Support and Supervision of the team to ensure a high quality of assessments and reports ensuring timeframes are met
• Strong partnership working skills with police , social work , education etc, is needed.
