Key Responsibilities:
- Create a welcoming and engaging learning environment for children in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate and stimulating lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of young learners.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with the EYFS framework, fostering children's social, emotional, and academic development.
- Assess and monitor children's progress, identifying areas of growth and areas that may require additional support.
- Foster positive relationships with parents and caregivers, providing regular feedback on children's development and achievements.
- Promote a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure a well-rounded and supportive educational experience.
- Stay current with best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant EYFS teaching experience.
- Strong passion for early childhood education and a deep understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in engaging with young children and their families.
- Creative and innovative teaching methods that inspire curiosity and exploration.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build strong relationships with young learners.
- A commitment to creating a positive and inclusive early years learning environment.
- Knowledge of assessment and observation techniques in EYFS.
- A valid DBS certificate is required.
