NEW SENIOR MATERIALS PLANNER JOB BASED IN BORDON, HAMPSHIRE.
Our client based in Bordon, Hampshire specialise in the design and manufacture of highly complex power supplies for the Automotive and Industrial industry.
They are searching for a Senior Materials Planner to join their team to support them by making sure the right materials are available at specified times.
Duties as a Senior Materials Planner in Bordon, Hampshire.
- Analyze MRP error and material analysis reports to address supply-demand alignment.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to address material shortages or excesses.
- Monitor raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to ensure availability without excess.
- Use ERP systems and forecasting tools to plan production and manage MRP.
- Communicate any schedule or material issues to stakeholders promptly.
Requirements as a Senior Materials Planner in Bordon, Hampshire.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or related field.
- CIPS Level 4 certification.
- 5+ years in materials planning, supply chain management, or inventory control in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, lean manufacturing, and inventory optimization.
