Our client, a leading entity in the motorsport sector, is looking for an enthusiastic and focus-driven Electronics Systems Engineer to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop bespoke electronics systems.
- Implement and debug hardware designs, including schematic and PCB layouts.
- Create embedded software for microcontrollers and microprocessors using Embedded C/C++.
- Prepare in-depth technical documentation, including system specifications, test plans, and reports.
- Gather and analyse requirements, guiding the design and development process from conception to deployment.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including hardware and software engineers.
- Research and adapt to new technologies and methodologies to meet project demands.
- Occasionally attend races to support product deployment and handover phases.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in electronics engineering, with a background in embedded systems development and support.
- Proficient in Electronics Design, Embedded C/C++, and Linux.
- Strong skills in systems engineering and in documenting technical requirements, specifications, and test plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to tailor information to various audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and remain calm under pressure.
- Highly motivated, flexible, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Logical approach to problem solving and robust planning skills.
