Job Title: Site Maintenance Engineer

Location: Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire

Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 + Benefits

About the Role:
We’re recruiting a skilled Site Maintenance Engineer for our client based in Hemel Hempstead. This role is vital to ensure smooth operations, safety, and compliance from the outset. This a Permanent role. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections and maintenance of HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues, supporting both preventative and emergency maintenance.
  • Manage contractor relationships and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Perform racking repairs, electrical testing, and assist with facility upgrades.

Requirements:

  • Engineering or Facilities Management qualifications.
  • 5+ years’ experience in industrial/commercial maintenance.
  • Electrical testing certification (e.g., City & Guilds 2391).
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and safety systems.
  • Proficiency in CMMS and a UK driving license.
  • Flexibility for occasional out-of-hours call-outs.
  • Must be able to provide examples of complex technical issues that you have managed and resolved
