We are working alongside a large Manufacturing FMCG client looking to find their next Procurement Graduate for a 3 year fixed term contract with a view at becoming Permanent after this time.  This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful company and to gain some incredible skills and experience.

Job Role:
Supporting the Paper For Recycling Procurement manager to ensure the supply of paper for recycling in accordance with the group's policy and strategy. To fulfil the raw material requirements within the budget constraints while meeting the sites health and safety, quality and safety policies.

General:
  • Apply and enforce the Group's policies, site's work procedures and instructions in relation to its activity, specifically in terms of hygiene, health/safety, quality, equality, environment and working conditions.
  • Manage initiatives and report via Masterplans and KPI’s in accordance with the Group's policies.
  • Ensures that the documentation/procedures and work instructions are updated/followed in accordance with the Group management system.
  • System maintenance and reporting.

Purchasing and Procurement:
  • Monitor and report on the supply and stocks of raw materials.
  • Ensure a satisfactory level of stock to ensure paper production
  • Report and follow up in the event of deviations from monthly forecasts
  • Participate in the annual budgeting process for the supply of Paper for Recycling
  • Plan consumption to determine required replenishment stock and stock levels.
  • Liaising internally and externally to ensure correct stock levels through the most effective supply channels.
  • Participate in meetings with suppliers and customers.
  • Participate in audits
  • Monitor and report on quality
  Statistics and reporting
  • Maintain and report statistics necessary for good management.
  • Complete and report on KPI’s.
  • Report to line manager on availability and stocks (actual and forecast), quality of raw materials, costs
  • Extraction, analysis and presentation of statistics /data

Person Specification
  • Business Administration Degree
  • Relevant IT skills as this role involves lots of reporting
  • Analytical Skills
  • Health and safety focused.
  • Good communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Able to work to deadlines.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and individually.
  • Good organizational and analytical skills.
  • Good initiative, self motivated.
  • Good financial understanding.
  • Proof of right to work in the UK indefinitely 
This is a full time position working Monday to Friday however as part of the role you will be expected to travel twice a year to Spain
