We are recruiting for a popular 11-18 mixed comprehensive in Redbridge noted for its caring and disciplined atmosphere. It was judged as a ‘Good school’ by Ofsted. They are looking for a specialist Business and Economics Teacher to join a growing and exceptionally well-resourced department. Business and Economics are two of their most popular subjects at A-Level, achieving outstanding results in both.

You should have either the experience or the potential to raise standards and attainment in Business and Economics. As a team member you will be supported to develop outstanding classroom practice with high aspirations for students. Through your passion for learning you will develop new and creative ideas, embedding an enjoyment of your subject into lessons.

  • ECTs and experienced QTS teachers are both encouraged to apply

  • A registered teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS/QTLS) for either post-compulsory or secondary education
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure (subject to checks)
  • Full employment/education history on your CV (including explanations for any employment gaps)
  • The legal right to work in the UK without restrictions
