The Business

With Manufacturing sites across the UK, and the globe, the business are one of the biggest Construction Products Manufacturers in the World. Specialising in Structural Support Components, they supply a wide array of off the shelf products, as well as being able to produce fully Bespoke pieces, tailor made to their customer’s specifications.

The Role

The Graduate Structural Engineer will be working in their 20 strong Design Department who are responsible for producing 2D CAD drawings for the Manufacturing Teams, plus perform structural and loading calculations to ensure they will meet customer requirements.

Once a final design is produced, a full Quotation is produced for the customer based on design and quantity required, then submitted over to the customer for final approval prior to manufacture.

The Candidate

Ideally the business is looking for someone who has completed a degree or similar Qualification in Structural Engineering, Architectural Technology, or Mechanical Engineering.

The role comes with full training, however you must have prior experience in:

  • 2D CAD modelling
  • Performing Structural Loading Calculations
  • Hold a GSCE (or Equivalent) in Maths
