Shifts Available: Days (08:00-20:00) & Nights (20:00-08:00)
Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent Positions
Are you passionate about making a difference in children's lives? Join our team as a Therapeutic Children Support Worker and provide crucial support to young people in a nurturing environment.
About the Role: We are seeking dedicated support workers to assist children with behavioral difficulties living in a residential home. This role involves guiding and assisting children with daily activities, including:
- School Support: Helping children prepare for school and supporting with homework or after-school activities.
- Daily Home Routines: Assisting with cooking, cleaning, shopping, and other household tasks to create a positive living environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 months of experience in a similar setting.
- Compassion, patience, and the ability to create a supportive atmosphere.
- Ability to work as part of a team and engage with children in a respectful, therapeutic manner.
- DBS on the online update service
