Position: Heead of Paraplanning Team 
Reports To: Compliance Director
Location: Office-based in Worcester, with occasional travel to London and other UK locations

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Research & Analysis: Prepare review packs and advice reports using the firm’s systems, ensuring timely delivery for financial planners.
• Team Management: Lead and manage a team of report writers, both experienced and trainees, ensuring work quality and adherence to company standards.
• Mentorship: Provide structured feedback to support team development.
• Record Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and maintenance of client records.
• Planner Support: Assist financial planners within the firm.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

• Minimum Level 4 qualified, actively working towards Chartered status.
• At least two years of experience in paraplanning and team management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of financial planning, FCA regulations, and related legislation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365.

Desirable:

• Chartered Financial Planner (Level 6).
• Experience in audit, quality control, or compliance checking.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a sense of humor.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping skills.
