I am looking for a Housing Resettlement Officer!
Passionate about making a difference? We're hiring a Housing Resettlement Officer on a 3-month contract to support vulnerable individuals, including refugees, in securing stable housing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Connect with landlords and help tenants transition smoothly into rental properties.
- Provide support to Afghan and Ukrainian families, helping them maintain secure tenancies.
- Work with Homelessness Prevention teams to reduce rough sleeping and support ex-offenders.
- Conduct property inspections and ensure housing standards.
- Offer guidance on welfare benefits, rent, and tenancy rights.
- Monitor rent payments and manage arrears.
Details:
3 days a week in the office
£27 - £30 p/h
