Maintenance Engineer

Alecto Recruitment are currently working with a Waste Management Company, who are looking to expand their team in the coming weeks.
We are currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer with relevant experience to work on a Monday to Friday basis within a site local to Oldbury.
Job Brief
To support the maintenance team with all maintenance on site.
During this role, you will be required to;
- Manage the maintenance on site.
- Improve performance and reliability of the maintenance activities on site.
- Implement maintenance strategy.
- Uphold a high standard of health and safety throughout the plant.
- Comply with existing procedures throughout the company.
- Maintain and repair recycling machinery and mobile plant.
- Work with both Mechanical and Electrical equipment to diagnose and repair faults.
Requirements
- Qualified to BTEC/City & Guilds Level Three standard or equivalent.
- Certified to 17th or 18th edition.
- Hold an IOSH certificate.
- Ideally have experience working with Conveyors, Balers and Compactors.
- Any Welding experience would be beneficial.
- Strong Electrical and Mechanical experience working within Heavy Industry/Process Plant environments.
- Ability to fault find on mobile and static plant.
Salary varies between £35,000 and £38,000 a year plus additional benefits.
The Person
This role would suit an experienced Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias. Ideally someone with the eye for detail and good communication skills.
