Project Senior Quantity Surveyor – Main Contractor

Salary – Up to £85,000 (Depending on Experience)

My client is a well established main contractor who specialise in residential projects around West London and surrounding areas.

About the Role:

My client is currently looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial team being site based. The project is a design and build conversion of an existing building to over 200 residential units at around the £30 million pound mark.

Duties to include but not be limited to;

• Understanding the risks and opportunities in such schemes.
• Ability to provide accurate cash flows.
• Sub-Contract Procurement including open protocol techniques.
• Placement of Sub-Contract Orders.
• Management of Sub-Contractors.
• Appropriate Sub-Contractor Payment Notifications.
• Issue Contractual Notices .
• Preliminaries Analyses.
• Monthly CVR preparation.
• Project CTC Forecasting.
• Reporting for Internal Reviews, identifying areas of risk.
• Proactivity with Design teams and related development.
• Positive engagement in opportunity areas and value engineering.
• Liaison with Employer team and assist with updating monthly SDL reports.
• Monthly payment applications.
• Valuation of Change.
• Ability to manage EoTs and Loss and Expense claims.
• Final Account agreement.

Candidate Requirements:

Must have a minimum of 5 years Quantity Surveying experience

Must have JCT experience

Refurbishment and conversion expereince

Main contractor experience

Qualified to HND level or higher with a valid CSCS card

Must be able to demonstrate job loyalty
