Remote job
Location:
Dublin
Salary/Rate:
£35,000 - £50,000/annum Commisssion plus car allowance

Our growing Freight Forwarding client operate offices in Ireland, NI, North West England and Singapore. They are IATA accredited Air agents in UK, Ireland and Singapore. Principle business functions are road, air and sea consolidation services along with cargo handling and lashing and securing services.

The client is looking to develop LCL and air products with direct clients in UK rather than the wholesale market, but in Ireland however they have became one of the market leaders for providing sea, road and air consolidation services, but primarily as a neutral provider, and it's reasonable to say we will probably move closer to becoming a completely neutral provider over the medium term.

To expand on their business this Freight Forwarder are looking to employ a sales person based in DUBLIN, in Ireland that has a good knowledge of road, air and sea consolidation services but be able to sell to the wholesale/freight forwarding market.

Ideal person;
- 5 x years' experience of freight sales and preferably in at least 2 of either road, air or sea freight - if road or sea then it is preferable to be consolidated/pallet experience rather than full loads (if only experienced in one mode, but they have a fairly exceptional background - this would also be off interest)
- Good knowledge of the Irish freight market and provable success in sales
- Freight forwarding background, i.e. preferable not from an MNC background which tends to focus on contract logistics
- Based in Irish Republic and not NI
