The global racing enterprise boasts over 250 race wins, four INDYCAR Series championships, five INDY NXT titles, one Indy Pro 2000 and one USF2000 championship, and has captured victory five times at the famed Indianapolis 500-Mile Race. The team is now looking to expand into the pinnacle of motorsport through our Andretti Cadillac Team.

Job description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Head of Finance Business Partnering to join the Andretti Cadillac Team at the new Silverstone Facility. In this role, you will lead the business partnering team at Andretti Global ensuring that the highest quality of business partnering is delivered to enhance decision making across the organization. This is a high-profile role, with broad influence across the business, implementing initiatives and strategies to optimize the teams spend under the Formula One® Financial Regulations. The successful applicant will have a broad range of financial experience with detailed knowledge of the Cost Cap. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and be able to build good relationships with the team and stakeholders and able to advise on latest regulation changes, progress to targets and set standards in effective ways of reporting. Principal Accountabilities:

  • Manage and communicate financial performance updates, key drivers of performance and actively utilising your commercial acumen to challenge financial and non-financial results
  • Manage the forecasting process for budgets, define the timetable, engage and challenge on headroom within regulations and initiatives
  • Working with key stakeholders to manage business strategies to delivery
  • Ensure non-finance team members have a thorough understanding of financial and regulatory implications of decisions and strategies.
  • Research, develop, document and implement best practices in tracking initiatives, and reporting to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the operations
  • Ensure consistency, establish and enforce standards and procedures across all teams.
  • Conduct regular internal reviews of adherence to best practices. Identify shortfalls and risks and provide feedback to relevant departments to ensure resolution.
  • Identify training requirements within the teams and ensuring these are addressed in a timely manner
  • Leading system changes to keep up with changes in the Formula One® Financial Regulations.
  • Support colleagues with updates on regulation changes impacting the business
  • Manage, motivate and drive the Business Partnering and Regulations team to deliver personal and business objectives
  • Providing coaching and training to junior team members.

Requirements

  • Qualified Accountant – ACCA / CIMA / ACA.
  • Extensive experience in a similar role, ideally within the motorsport industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Formula One® Financial and Technical Regulations.
  • Experience managing financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes, including budgeting, forecasting and initiative tracking.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on driving business results and continuous improvement.
  • Experience using an ERP system, Ideally IFS.
  • Solid management experience with the ability lead teams effectively.   
  • Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders/directors.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.   
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong levels of IT skills including MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Positively contribute to an open and inclusive culture
