A manufacturer of skincare and cosmetic products that are currently experiencing significant growth are recruiting for an Account Manager to join their expanding team.

Bringing knowledge of the cosmetics and beauty industry, or with experience in another area of FMCG manufacturing, you will join a vibrant and collaborative team and help to develop their customer base, providing the very best in sales and customer service.

Key responsibilities:

  • Engage in customer outreach, comfortably connecting with both existing and potential customers through verbal communication.
  • Establish and nurture customer relationships, understanding their motivations and maximizing partnership, while expanding and maintaining accounts.
  • Develop a deep understanding of products and processes to offer tailored solutions aligned with customer needs and demonstrate a genuine interest in company offerings.
  • Position yourself as the first point of contact for any customer requirements
  • Work closely with various teams, including Technical, Purchasing, and Production, establishing strong relationships with key team members.
  • Acquire the technical expertise necessary to comprehend the information required for timely and customer-oriented product manufacturing.
  • Strive to achieve the expected year-on-year growth percentage as an individual by meeting targets, deadlines, and surpassing customer expectations.
  • Provide timely quotations and follow-up support to secure orders.
  • Proactively analyze accounts to identify gaps and potential upselling opportunities for company services.
  • Focus on maximizing repeat business with clients.

Skills and experience:

  • Experience in account management within a B2B FMCG setting (A background in beauty manufacturing is highly desirable).
  • A track record of successful sales experience.
  • Proficiency in various computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems, with a preference for experience in Hubspot and MRP Easy.
  • A genuine commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and consistently exceeding expectations.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, along with a meticulous eye for detail.
  • The ability to effectively manage and prioritize tasks, both independently and collaboratively.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to your work.
