Role: Head of Spanish

Location: Rochdale

Qualiteach is looking to recruit an experienced Head of Spanish for a secondary academy based in Rochdale on a permanent basis. 

The role will involve leading the Spanish department to ensure it's continued success.  You will line manage several teachers, teach Spanish up to KS4, be actively involved in shaping the teaching and development of the subject and lead from the front. 

The academy are looking for someone with a proven track record.  Ideally, you will have previously worked as a Head of Spanish, Head of MFL or Assistant Head of Department.  However, the academy are happy to consider applications from experienced Spanish teachers with a proven track record who have taught the subject at secondary level for at least 4 years from within a similar setting.

The position is offered on a full-time, permanent basis and you will be employed directly by the academy.  The role is due to start on 02/09/24 and the academy are actively looking for suitable candidates to interview over the next 2 weeks.

• PGCE with QTS or equivalent
