We are working with a leading national renewable energy installation companies who due to securing a number of education decarbonisation projects in London are looking for x3 mechanical supervisors to join their business. 

They have a total of 11 schools to deliver across Central London in the next 12 months. This will include full mechanical upgrades with a heavy focus on pipework systems and the removal of boilers and installation of air source heat pumps. 

Reporting to a mechanical contracts manager you will act as the day to day mechanical contact on site with an overview for managing all relevant specialist subcontractors to successfully carry out the works.

Responsibilities • To supervise the Mechanical division of the relevant project(s)  from conception through to delivery • Ensure the highest consideration is given to complying with current regulations and specific client requirements • Ensure the safety standards are understood, implemented and maintained by all team members and Contractors • Assist the on-site construction team; ensure Sub-contractors work to the programme, construction sequence and ensure efficient deployment when pro-actively allocating work • Overseeing the work of directly employed Mechanical and external Contractors • Implement and monitor the project to ensure it is engineered to the highest standard • Take ownership of Mechanical issues • Ensure appropriate quality and workmanship • Produce rotas for the Operative team • Reporting of all Health and Safety issues • Manage the issue and upkeep of PPE to the team Skills and experience required • An industry relevant City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 or above • SSSTS • Minimum 2 years of experience as a full-time supervisor
