We have a career grade vacancy for a pro-active structural engineer wanting to play a key role in a small but growing practice.  The role is one of a series of team building roles requiring varying levels or expertise and experience that we will be announcing over the coming months as we grow the business.  You would be the lead engineer on projects, attend sites, site meetings, and liaise with clients.  You will be supported by engineers who may have more or less experience than yourself.  You will provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.  You will receive training to develop and broaden your skills.

You will be encouraged and supported to reach chartered engineer status which may include offering post graduate study..

The role requires a minimum of 3 to 5 years post graduate design and/ or on-site construction experience which should be predominantly in building structures and residential developments. You should be familiar with Tedds and Tekla Structural Designer, and AutoCAD lite.

The position will initially be in our Leamington Spa office but we anticipoate some hybrid working arrangements once established within the design team.  The office is conveient for train and bus transport and free parking is available nearby.  We offer flexible hours working to suit individual requirements subject to core hours which a required to ensure effective collaboration.

The practice operates a 37.5 hour working week with 26 days holiday, of which 22 days can be used flexibly,in additionto the recognised public holidays.

You should be resident in the UK and ideally have the right to work for twelve months.  Depending on circumstances at the time we would expect to work with staff members wishibg to extend visas to enable them to continue their employment with the practice.
