Salary: £37,000 - £43,000 per annum, dependant on experience

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4pm

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

About The Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Hands-on Electromechanical Engineer.

Working within our clients busy Technical Department, you’ll be responsible for:

• Installing, servicing & repairing packaging machinery, both on customers’ sites and sometimes in our workshop.
• This will almost exclusively be machinery supplied by us, but you will need the flexibility and capability to work on any equipment if there is a commercial reason to do so.
• This role requires a joined-up approach, using your strong knowledge of both the machinery and the consumables in order to confidently advise on both, including performing film optimisation work on any type of pallet wrapping machine.
• You’ll have excellent interpersonal skills and customer service ability, having the ability to empathise with customers and work closely with them to ensure they’re left very happy. You will be a strong ambassador for us throughout all customer interactions.

Other Clients Responsibilities:

• Management of all associated procedures to ensure everything is properly logged and charged in a timely fashion.
• Management of all health & safety aspects of this role.
• Providing full technical support to sales colleagues.
• Carrying out comprehensive customer demonstrations and on-site training.

Skills/Requirements:

Essential

• Commercially minded, with an ability to spot opportunities for the company to increase revenue.
• Several years’ experience in a similar role and/or fully qualified
• Full, Clean Driving Licence
• Overtime paid at 1.5x basic salary
