LTF Recruitment are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming secondary school located in Nottingham, Kirkby in Ashfield, NG17. The role will require you to support students in KS3 & KS4, supporting them to engage with learning day-day. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work collaboratively with teaching staff & learning support staff to provide the best possible support for students.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide daily support to students in KS3 & KS4
• Deliver personalised 1-1 and small group support, with an understanding of individual needs
• Build supportive relationships with students
• Monitor and encourage students' social, emotional and academic growth
• Track student progress, setting and evaluating targets and goals for improvements

Requirements:

• A relevant qualification/degree is desirable for this role
• Previous experience involving working with children/young people within a school setting
• Have a genuine interest in education and supporting students to develop and achieve
• An Enhanced DBS Certificate and two references are a requirement for this role
