Salary £36,000 inclusive of Shift Allowance (3 shift pattern)
A manufacturing company are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing business and drive their team to the next level.
Role and Responsibilities
· Supervising a team of Production Operators ensuring that they are working efficiently, safely and in line with necessary targets.
· Health and safety of staff including risk assessments and accident investigations.
· Quality performance working towards zero defect target by proactive quality measures and root cause analysis.
· Management of staff and personal issues including disciplines, grievances, sickness absence, appraisals, and maintenance of holiday systems.
· Production performance optimising output by efficiency improvement activities and staff performance management
Knowledge and Experience
· Excellent communication skills written and verbal
· Proven team leadership or management experience ideally within an automated setting
· Must be a natural leader
· Good organisational skills
· The ability to manage busy workload and meet deadlines
· Able to multitask
· Experience of Continuous Improvement
