Mechanical Design Engineer  

Mechanical Design Engineer Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 DOE

Orion is currently working with an innovative manufacturing company based in Essex who are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer.  

They are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their friendly team and work hands-on in a fast-paced environment.  

The majority of the business is the design and assembly of filling and packaging lines for aerosols within the pharmaceutical industry.

Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities:

• Reading and working from mechanical drawings
• Layout design
• Enclosure design
• Conveyor design
• Ductwork design
• General mechanical design – sensor bracketry/equipment mounting etc..

Mechanical Design Engineer Required Experience:

• In-depth knowledge of mechanical design software like CATIA AutoCAD, Solidworks, CREO etc..
• Design degree/background
• Familiarity with automated production machinery
• Experience in a multi-faceted environment
• Systematic approach to their work with attention to detail
• Team player
• Desire to improve and develop their skills
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently across departments and the shop floor.

Mechanical Design Engineer Package:

• Competitive Salary of £30,000 - £40,000 DOE
• 23 day holiday allowance
• Pension contribution
• Onsite parking

Mechanical Design Engineer Shifts:

Monday – Friday: 8:00 – 17:00
