CAD CAM Design Engineer

Our client, based in the North Manchester area, are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer on a permanent basis.
A background in sheet metal is ESSENTIAL. This is a permanent role paying £37,500.
* CAD / CAM Design Engineer
* Salary: £37,500 per year (experience dependent) + OT = 45k OTE
* 39hrs per week, 2 options: Mon to Thurs or Monday to Friday
Our client, a leading engineering subcontractor, with state of the art facilities, are looking for an experienced Design Engineer person to join the CAD / CAM department.
The role will involve to producing SolidWorks drawings for general sheet metal projects, sheet metal enclosures and fabrications. It will also involve planning parts/assemblies to create BOM's and quotations.
Requirements:
* Sheet metal knowledge & experience is essential (5-10 years minimum)
* To be proficient in SolidWorks.
* CAM software experience to create parts (Radan or Amada preferred)
* Good work ethic & attitude.
* Any engineering qualifications would be beneficial.
