Our client is an independent construction and property start up consultancy that is expanding quickly. I have been instructed to recruit a Project Manager to support the growth of the business which covers all aspects of project management works, specialising within the retail sector currently working with leading innovative blue-chip retailers.

Important information:

Salary – circa £55,000 - £65,000

Location – Leeds, York, surrounding areas.

Remote working/working from client offices/international travel for projects.

Purpose:

• Gather detailed client’s brief and responsibilities of consultants and specialists.
• Establish lines of communication and reporting procedures with the client.
• Arrange feasibility studies, including site surveys, site investigation, site evaluation etc.
• Direct finances from inception to completion, including cash flow forecasts, monitoring project expenditure, and recommendations of payments by client.
• Handle contact administration, JCT, NEC.
• Development of project documentation, programmes, master budget, risk register etc.
• Maintain a strong document management system.
• Produce reports to suit relevant stages of the projects.
• Undertake feasibility studies, including site surveys, site investigation, site evaluation, etc
• Monitor the contract programme against the contractor’s performance.
• Management of consultant teams to ensure that the contractor’s design is done in compliance with the contract and specification
• Liaise with the client on deviations from specification, budget etc.
• Provide single point of contact taking responsibility for all aspects of the project and liaise with the client.
• Lead project meetings throughout the contract period.
