Job Title : Sustainability LCA Specialist / Assessor
Location : Hybrid – Home and Office based (office location to suit you) 
Reports to : Managing Director

My client is a company who offer comprehensive expert advice and practical help, focusing on aspects such as net zero carbon and sustainability. This ranges from new or existing commercial and residential property developments and business parks to single homes. They provide their clients with a “one stop shop” for all their sustainable and net zero aspirations – from preplanning design services to full project management services in procurement, management and delivery.

Their Vision is to become a leading Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) in Britain, to assist in tackling the Climate Change Crisis by educating and providing specialist advice to organisations focused within the construction and property industry.

They are looking for a dynamic individual to join their team, who will need a strong propensity to work with others and should be conscientious and committed. The team all work together to put their values into practice; therefore, are looking for like-minded individuals to join them on this exciting journey.

Job Summary: 
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) services to Clients, helping them to deliver on their decarbonisation targets and sustainability ambitions. Using your expertise in data analysis and understanding of footprints from cradle to cradle, you will prepare detailed reports.

Required Skills and Experience: 

  • Degree in related field (Engineering, Environmental Science) with a focus on life cycle assessment
  • Demonstratable experience in delivering product life cycle assessments (ideally in manufacturing or related industries)
  • Deep expertise and practical experience in applying product LCA methodologies and tools, and a strong understanding of sustainability data and IT systems in general
  • Knowledge of carbon and environmental accounting standards and experience in reporting
  • Very strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently but also comfortable building strong working relationships with colleagues around the business
  • Initiative-taking, detail-orientated & solutions focused
