Job Title: CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator – MILLING (Late Shift)
My client is seeking a proficient CNC machinist to program, set up, and operate our universal bed-type milling machines equipped with Heidenhein control systems.
Requirements:
- Expertise in 3 & 4 axis machining
- Experience with materials such as Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Mild Steel, and Cast Iron
- Familiarity with machining medium to large fabrications and castings
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Completion of a time-served apprenticeship or extensive hands-on machining experience
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings to produce high-quality work.
- In-depth knowledge of work-holding methods, tool selection, and cutting parameters
- Flexibility, reliability, and a collaborative team player
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Prior experience in precision engineering or manufacturing is essential.
Working Hours: 39 hours per week (4-day week)
- Monday to Wednesday: 4:00 pm – 2:00 am
- Thursday: 3:00 pm – Midnight
- Friday: Overtime as required, subject to workload.
