Days/Hours of work: Full time, 36 hours per week, Mon – Friday

About the role

We are a team of people who love and look after six of the most wonderful palaces in the world.

We’re seeking an organised, dedicated, and ambitious individual to lead our F&E team across all 6 palaces in our care. As the Head of F&E and Commercial Services, you drive revenue growth from the private hire of our spaces, staging commercial events at our properties and developing new income generating opportunities. You will coach and manage the events teams and a have leadership role within the wider Commercial Directorate.

Responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive events strategy aligned with HRP’s new strategic direction.
• Team Management: Lead a talented team of event professionals, fostering creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and partners.
• Financial Management: Oversee budgets, negotiate contracts, and maximize revenue while maintaining high standards.
• Event Execution: Ensure flawless execution of events, from concept to completion, while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends, seeking innovative ways to enhance the visitor experience through events. Lead of exploration of new income generating opportunities for HRP.

About you

What will you need to bring to the role?

• Proven experience in event management, preferably within a heritage or cultural context.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation abilities.
