Job Description:              

• Manage the purchasing of products into the group but in particular manage the supply chain of paper to minimise cost and minimise stock held on site 

Primary Responsibilities:           

• To source new suppliers, so maintaining the optimum supplier base to attain the Company’s sales objectives
• To develop the trading relationship with all suppliers, ensuring high levels of service to and from manufacturers, so assisting the company in becoming our suppliers’ customer of choice
• To ensure that the company complies with UK legislation regarding imported goods              
• Analysing paper usage to predict and manage the supply chain of paper into the business
• To continually explore ways of improving the company’s efficiency
• To work closely with the company Director’s achieved the above objectives and other initiatives as specified.

Relevant Experience:

• Must have previous experience in buying paper for a corrugated manufacturer.

Salary:

• Up to £35,000 depending on experience
