Job Title: Wills and Probate Solicitor

Location: Redditch

Salary: From £45,000 per annum D.O.E

Hours of Work: 4 days a week, 08:30 – 17:30

Type: Permanent and Onsite

Start Date: Immediately (flexible for notice periods)

We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Wills and Probate Solicitor to join our law firm in Redditch, Worcestershire employed on a full-time basis working 4-days per week across Monday to Friday (8:30am to 5:30pm), with a focus on training, mentorship and signing off your team’s files. Adding the sector to our firm we are looking for someone hungry to build their team in almost their own image. Because of this at least 5 years post qualification experience to take on this awesome opportunity.

The successful candidate will provide expert legal advice and services to clients on all aspects of wills, probate, and estate administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Wills
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney.
  • Administration of deceased’ estates.
  • Court of Protection applications for appointment of a Deputy.
  • Deeds of gift of unmortgaged properties, assents, registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney deeds.

Suitable Candidates Will Have

  • At least 5 years post qualification experience.
  • Previous experience of working in private client and sound knowledge of wills, trusts and probate work
  • A professional, friendly and reassuring approach to dealing with clients;
  • Good organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
