To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for an Reward Manger to come and join our team, on a permanent basis, based at Ibstock Head Office LE67 6HS

Job Purpose:
Reporting to the People Partnering and Operations Director, this role is a key specialist strategic role within the Ibstock People function. Working as a key member of the People team this role will need to deeply understand the business to ensure we have total reward packages in place that attract and retain people, drive and reward performance and align to our values. This role is fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to really drive a reward agenda and apply thought leadership to continuously improve what we already do and bring new thinking to the organisation.

• Lead the development and implementation of the total Reward Strategy to ensure the organisation attracts and retains the best talent maximising individual and team performance
• Leadership and management of all elements of the reward agenda including annual cycle, grading, benchmarking, benefit programmes, governance and compliance and statutory reporting
• Work with the People Partner team to understand reward frameworks / pay structure required across the organisation and how we can align to our employee value proposition. Specifically focus is required on manufacturing pay frameworks.
• Identify areas of improvement to current practice, providing options and recommendations and implementing them to drive commercial impact
• Design and delivery of incentive plans and company bonus plans that align to our growth ambitions and motivate our colleagues.
• Review and develop our benefits looking for opportunities to enhance our offer through driving value and using external insight to understand the future landscape
• Maintain and evolve our company car proposition ensuring we look at sustainability as at of our forward plan around car fleet management

• Business & Commercial Acumen
• Extensive and in-depth experience in total reward, benefits, pensions and performance
• Budget management and control. Must have experience of managing budgets and able to demonstrate cost savings and return on investment approach
• Extensive experience of implementing change programmes and being instrumental in the planning and organising of Change Management Projects including development and implementation of Reward & Benefits programmes
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills. Ability to analyse information and proactively make recommendations and suggestions

Key Performance indicators
• Robust reward strategy and plans in place with clear deliverables and full stakeholder alignment
• Achievement of agreed annual / Quarterly objectives
• Control of pay and bonus cycle in place to evidence compliance
• An understanding of the important metrics for performance
• Effective contribution to wider HR team agenda alongside the HR leadership team Management to budget and identification of possible saving.
