Great opportunity to work as a Hygiene Operative to work for our client, a manufacturer of healthy snacks and protein bars.

Staffline are recruiting for a Hygiene Operative in Newport.

This is a full time role, working rotational day, afternoon, and night shifts. Your hours of work will be:
- 6am to 2pm
- 2pm to 10pm
- 10pm to 6am

The rate of pay for this role is £11.44 per hour, with overtime paid at £14.30 per hour after 37.5 hours worked.

Your Time at Work

As a Hygiene Operative, your duties will include:

- Cleaning factory machines and fabrication
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and ensure site health and safety and food safety policies are followed
- Ensuring cleaning procedures are followed at all times.
- Reporting as necessary any faults or damage to any pieces/parts of machinery.
- General cleaning of the site.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect Hygiene Operative must be a team player and have some flexibility with regard shift working times.

Experience of working within a cleaning/ hygiene team is advantageous but not a requirement as full training will be given.

This role requires someone who is reliable with good timekeeping and communication skills.

You will be comfortable with working in a fast-paced production environment and standing or walking for long periods of time.
