1st/2nd Line Engineer

My client is seeking a skilled and motivated 1st/2nd Line Engineer to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing first and second-line technical support, troubleshooting a variety of IT issues, and ensuring smooth IT operations for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first and second-line technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Respond to and manage helpdesk tickets in a timely manner, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and software.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or specialized teams when necessary.
- Document issues, resolutions, and maintain accurate records of support activities.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and implement improvements in processes and services.
- Provide on-site support as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a 1st/2nd line support role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
