Deputy Nursery Manager

As Deputy Nursery Manager, you will support the Manager in providing the highest standards of care, education, and compliance for children and help to manage the daily operations of the nursery, including building positive partnerships with staff and parents.

Responsibilities:
- Help to ensure the smooth running of the nursery along with the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families
- Inspire staff team with creative ideas and new challenges to continue their knowledge and skills development
- Create an environment where all children receive engaging experiences suitable for their age and stage of development
- Ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met throughout the nursery
- Ensure individual care plans are thorough and up to date for children or staff with health conditions
- Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification – ideally higher qualifications in childcare or leadership
- Previous experience of working in a childcare environment with management responsibilities
- Sound knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements
- Ideally, experience of successfully passing an Ofsted inspection
