Our client is well-known groundworks and civil engineering contractor based in the East Midlands. They deliver projects in residential and infrastructure to a diverse client base in the public and private sector. They are recruiting a Project Manager for a roads & sewers, 278 works, infrastructure project in the East Midlands. This role is part of a secure long-term framework. The role will be site based.
The Project Manager will:
- Take responsibility for programming and planning
- Manage subcontractors and direct labour
- Manage health and safety
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders
- Liaise with Quantity Surveyors regarding commercial performance
- Take overall responsibility for the delivery of the scheme to time and budget
Experience Required:
- Background and track record working with a recognised civils contractor in a similar role.
- Ideally have a BSc or HNC in civil engineering (or equivalent).
- Roads and Sewers, 278 works, infrastructure project experience
- NEC project experience would be an advantage
- SMSTS/SSSTS/CSCS/First Aid
