We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Landscaping Manager to oversee a £10 million landscaping package in East London. Your role will involve managing all aspects of the landscaping works, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery while maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors. 

Responsibilities:

• Day to day management, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of site works.
• Ensure compliance and H&S are in place and adhered to.
• Report project performance to Director as required
• Manage the environmental requirements of the projects
• Responsible for the project cost control.
• Liaise with clients to arrange works and attend any pre-start meetings with the corresponding Consultant or Director.
• Prepare site paperwork such as permits to dig, RAMS, check sheets, spray records etc.
• Liaise with Project Manager when ordering plant, machinery and haulage for waste as required
• Manage plant operators and labourers as necessary to ensure projects are properly resourced to complete on time and on budget.
• Supervise all works on site, ensuring high standards of work are met.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Landscaping Manager or in a similar role within the construction sector
• Engineering background preferred
• Demonstrable experience in managing large-scale landscaping projects, preferably within an urban setting.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of landscaping techniques, materials, and best practices.
• SMSTS, First aid, CSCS
