Fabric Technician

Full Time - 40 hrs per week  - Monday-Friday

Northwood , Near Watford (HA6)

Position Overview & Purpose

Repair of site fabric , fixtures and fittings delegated by Maintenance Supervisors and Managers. Delivering jobs on time, within budget and in accordance woth Skanska H&S policies/procedures.

You Will

• Perform planned preventative maintenance, statutory compliance tasks and reactive works investigations/repairs on all Fabric, Fixtures and Fittings.
• Locksmith duties on a reactive basis
• Fire Door PPM inspections and maintenance, including reactive repairs
• Liaise / assist with other services as necessary for the efficient delivery of work activities, workmanship and productivity to comply with the performance standards
• Where required undertake and implement minor capital works projects

We need :

• Working knowledge of other building services and trades
• Excellent team working and problem solving capabilities
• Must be able to fully satisfy the Client security clearance minimum requirements (SC)
• Experience of fabric, fixtures and fittings Maintenance
• Suitable qualifications and experience in Fire Door inspections and maintenance &/or Locksmith duties for reactive repairs
