Red Rock Consultants are currently working with a privately owned family business a national M&E provider. Due to contract growth my client is currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Supervisor to work in Wolverhampton
The right candidate will undertake repair, maintenance and installation of gas, plumbing and heating systems in domestic and commercial properties, ideally must be familiar with oil and medium and high-pressure systems.
Key Duties of the role
- Supervision and leadership of the labour on site
- Ensuring site safety is maintained
- Overseeing productivity of the Sub-Contractors and directly employed Staff.
- Keeping up with their own workload and productivity on site.
- Quality control
- Site surveys
- Solving issues that arise on site in a calm and measured way.
- Walking around the jobs and identifying rectification works.
- As a key participant in the relationship with the Company, Sub-Contractors and the Client.
The Following experience/qualifications are required
- Previous experience of social housing is essential and must hold a recognised domestic gas qualification with
- A full UK Driving License.
- Experience in domestic gas installations.
- SMSTS, IOSH.
- IT Literate including an understanding of Excel
- Working at height, Asbestos awareness and Manual handling qualification.
- Willing to help with completing snags that might arise on handovers of properties
