Elevation Recruitment Group are searching for a Buyer to join a Wholesale business based in Huddersfield. This role will require you to manage supplier relationships, foster strong internal and external partnerships, and balance business and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet Supply Chain KPIs
• Address and resolve stock shortages and availability issues
• Stay informed about market trends and quickly respond to changes in demand
• Maintain effective communication with key stakeholders
• Oversee supplier relationships and conduct quarterly business reviews
• Place and manage outgoing purchase orders
• Maintain supplier open order books
• Understand supplier capabilities, capacities, and priorities, and develop contingency plans when necessary
• Conduct supplier analysis, reporting, and forecasting
• Negotiate pricing, rebates, and payment terms
• Track and facilitate supplier rebates
• Maintain purchasing contracts and agreements
• Promptly respond to internal stock requests
• Maintain delivery cost records
• Manage master data, such as commodity codes and country of origin
