Senior Business Analyst - £600 per day - Inside IR35 - Remote with occasional attendance to a site in Central London - Contract until 31/12/2024.

My client, a major renewable energy company, specialising in wind power, solar power, and battery storage technology, is looking for an experiences Business Analyst to join them on a contract basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Articulate and Document Requirements: Clearly and accurately define business requirements to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage Project Data: Maintain accuracy, integrity, and security of project data throughout its lifecycle.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and control project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Data Migration Support: Facilitate the smooth transition of data from legacy systems to new platforms.
  • Development Pipeline Management: Prioritize, schedule, and oversee project delivery timelines.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and senior management to align project outcomes with business objectives.
  • UAT Support: Assist with test planning, creation, execution, and defect management for system User Acceptance Testing.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers, testers, and project managers to ensure successful project execution.


Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a Business Analyst with a proven record in delivering complex projects.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of project management methodologies, data management principles, and quality assurance processes.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Proficient in Jira with strong abilities/experience.
  • Skilled in Project Management or MS Power Apps software, including training and issue management.
  • Experience with MS Power PPM and BI reporting is highly desired.
  • Communication: Ability to convey complex concepts and requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Stakeholder Management: Experience in engaging and managing stakeholders, building strong relationships, and influencing decisions.
  • UAT Familiarity: Knowledge of system User Acceptance Testing processes and best practices.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
  • Self-Motivation: Proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
