Our client have an exciting opportunity available for a BOM (Bill of Materials) Engineer to join their ever-growing team based in Witney, Oxfordshire. Joining them on a full time, permanent basis, you will receive a competitive rate of pay plus generous benefits that make it a great place to work!

BOM Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the Engineering aspects of the change control process, implementing changes as needed
• Implementation and maintenance of Routings for production processes
• Creation of BOMs for new products and take ownership of existing BOM’s bringing them up to standard
• Regular auditing of existing BOMs to maintain their accuracy
• Ensure that suitable drawings and technical information are available
• Responsible for new & existing item master data
• To ensure physical build and BOMs are the same

The ideal BOM Engineer will:

• Have the ability to understand BOMs
• Have knowledge of change management processes/procedures and NPI process
• Experience of working in the manufacturing sector and a good understanding of manufacturing processes
• HND qualification or equivalent, in a relevant engineering discipline (desirable)
• Experience of using databases and data from systems to be input to Excel (desirable)
• Good project management, presentation, organisation, and communication skills

Working Hours + Benefits:

• Monday – Friday: 08.30 – 16.30 (On-site)
