Salary/Rate:
£60,000 - £70,000/annum + package

To lead, manage and develop the Design Team in delivering detailed designs from sales handover of all projects to completion of the Design process.  This includes managing the process of working detailed drawings from approval to construction to fabrication and as built drawings. 

Part of the role is to manage the Design Time and effectiveness of each Designer on each project through a Design Diary or other platform.

Design Team:

  • Exceptional Management skills
  • Ability to Multi Task
  • Ability to understand architects’ drawings
  • Attention to detail
  • Practical understanding of how things go together
  • Ability to work with a concept and draw into a working detail whilst delivering on the intent
  • Be able to create buildable system that is also within budget and time constraints
  • Manage multiple designers and programmes.
  • Ability to think on their feet when up against deadlines, budget and keeping the customer satisfied.
  • Ability to deal with deadlines
  • General GCSE Levels
  • Previous Design Management Experience of at least 3 years.
  • Inventor & Revit
  • BIM training desirable

  • To ensure that projects that you manage are completed on time, to the required standard in the department and ultimately to our client satisfaction whilst meeting expected budget outcomes.
