Description

As a Cost Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring our projects are delivered on budget and meet the highest standards of quality. You will be responsible for managing costs throughout the project lifecycle, from initial estimates to final accounts, ensuring value for money and efficiency at every stage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses.
  • Monitor and manage project expenditure.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with contractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Provide accurate cost forecasting and risk management.

Profile

* Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Professional certification (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is highly desirable.
* Proven experience in cost management within the construction industry, preferably in social housing projects.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
* Proficiency in cost management software and tools.
