Description

As a Design Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the design process for our social housing projects. You will ensure that designs meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and sustainability, and align with our mission of creating high quality social housing.

  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of the design process from concept to completion.
  • Work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and refine project designs.
  • Ensure designs comply with relevant building regulations, standards, and client requirements.
  • Review and approve design documentation, including drawings and specifications.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between design teams and other project participants.
  • Monitor design progress and address any issues that arise during the design phase.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure design implementation aligns with project plans.
  • Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in design coordination within the construction industry, preferably in social housing projects.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, building regulations, and construction processes.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
