Your new company
This is a well established charity that provides a variety of services supporting women, men & children who have been victims of abuse. They access the community to support victims as part of commissioned contracts to offer a holistic & trauma informed to these individuals.

Your new role
As a Counsellor, you will provide time limited, specialist trauma informed counselling to adult (18 years+) victims, both male and female, who have been subject to domestic abuse. You will receive referrals through the support services for domestic abuse, rape & sexual violence, exploitation and partner pathways, including West Midlands Adults Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC).

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a registered member of the BACP or equivalent professional body and willing to work to professional standards set out for the counselling professions. This role requires you to have experience of working in a counselling capacity previously, along with you being an individual with excellent communication skills, compassion, empathetic & flexibility.
