Tooling Supervisor

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £39,000 to £44,000

As a Tooling Supervisor, you will be responsible for the effective management of resource to ensure that machinery, equipment, systems and infrastructures run smoothly and reliably

Responsibilities:
- Utilize electrical and mechanical knowledge to manage all aspects of tooling operations.
- Provide leadership and supervision to a team of tooling technicians.
- Interpret schematics and logic controllers to troubleshoot tooling issues.
- Oversee project management related to tooling upgrades, repairs, and installations.
- Maintain inventory of tools and equipment, ensuring availability for production needs.

Qualifications:

• Self and direct reports’ adherence to all legal and safety requirements including; PUWER Power press regulations, lifting and slinging
• Prior experience in supervising tooling operations is preferred.
• Strong understanding of project management principles.
• Ability to maintain and repair various types of tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to tooling operations.
• Planning, coordinating and deploying technical resource to achieve operational goals and objectives
• Self and direct reports’ adherence to and entry of RPO and MTTR data (documentation of jobs/hours completed through electronic reporting methods)
• Supporting the facilities management of industrial service equipment
