We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong background in plumbing and familiarity with the 18th edition wiring regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient operation and safety of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

 1. Plumbing Maintenance and Repairs:

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, and fixtures.

 - Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, such as leaks, clogs, and water pressure problems.

- Perform routine inspections to identify potential plumbing problems and implement preventive measures.

2. Electrical Maintenance:

- Conduct electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in compliance with the 18th edition wiring regulations.

- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, including faulty wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting.

- Ensure all electrical work meets safety standards and regulatory requirements.

3. General Maintenance:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, and HVAC system maintenance.

- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address maintenance needs. - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and work orders.

Key Skills:

• As a Government building, vetting requirements will be a Basic DBS check on recruitment and CTC check will be undertaken when in the role by ONS.
• Electrical Qualifications - 18th Edition as a minimum
• Previous experience of working in large office building environment preferred, a minimum requirement would be City and Guilds qualification or similar in Plumbing.
