Your new company is a friendly, trustworthy and award-winning business based in West Sussex. They provide expertise and planning on large scale commercial projects to the renovation of listed buildings, bespoke new-builds or small extensions. They are a family run business with a highly skilled work force. They offer a relaxed and collegial working environment, where your views and opinions are valued and listened to. Your new role
In your new role, you will be a valued member of the management team, and you'll be actively encouraged to contribute to the way the business goes forward. You will be working with the Estimating and Site Management team, and will be responsible for managing costs relating to construction projects, including procurement, monthly valuations, and recording variations. You'll provide feedback on project cost analysis across a variety of projects to ensure that the KPI's of time, budget, and referral are being achieved. You'll be reporting to the Managing Director.

  • Provide feedback on project cost analysis across all projects.
  • Assist contract delivery team when required with customer satisfaction and liaison and quality control.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful for this role, you'll need to be knowledgeable in the commercial industry, and have a meticulous approach to managing financials. Ideally, you'll have a degree or diploma level qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management. It is also desired to have 10 years experience in the commercial and high-end residential construction sector, with experience of delivering work up to £5m in value. You'll also need to have experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
