Position: Trainee QC Inspector

Salary - £23,300 (Quarterly bonus and overtime available.

Location: Bedford

Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee QC Inspector to begin work for a leading manufacturing and production business in Bedford.

Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Trainee QC Inspector to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the factory's function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work.

Role

• Quality control of through-hole components, surface mount devices including wire modifications, mechanical assembly and final inspection all with quality checks against our customer's exacting standards.
• Use of a microscope due to the small size of components.

Experience/Qualifications

• Some knowledge of assembly of electronic printed circuit boards to IPC 610 class 3 is ideal but not essential
• Some Experience of working with a microscope is ideal but not essential
• Professional manner with excellent internal and external customer service skills
• Good understanding of English including verbal and written communication skills
