Grant Administration Lead

Remote. Salary £30,000.

Role Overview

As we embark on an exciting project funded by Innovate UK, we are seeking a dynamic and organised Grant Administration Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our existing grant from Innovate UK.


This role requires an experienced professional with excellent communication
skills and a strong background in grant management, specifically in ensuring
compliance, reporting, and administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the existing Innovate UK grant, ensuring compliance with all requirements and regulations.
  • Prepare and submit required financial and programmatic reports to Innovate UK in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all grant requirements and guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and organised records of all grant-related activities and documentation.
  • Coordinate and lead meetings with all parties involved in the Innovate UK Project to ensure grant objectives and deadlines are met.
  • Develop and implement grant management policies and procedures tailored to the Innovate UK grant.
  • Provide training and support to staff on grant-related processes and compliance specific to Innovate UK requirements.
  • Stay current with changes in Innovate UK grant regulations and best practices in grant administration.
  • Liaise with Innovate UK representatives as necessary to ensure clear communication and compliance.
  • Assist in budget management and financial oversight related to the grant.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in grant administration, grant management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing grants, preferably with experience in Innovate UK grants.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
